How long can I hire a vehicle for?
You can discuss the rental period directly with your host, though we are generally able to cater for both short-term car rentals and for multiple days’ rentals. We allow you to message your car driver before completing the booking to make sure everything is precisely as you need it to be. This can be done through evee’s internal messaging system.
What happens if I need to cancel?
You need to let us know as soon as possible if you need to cancel the rental for whatever reason. If we are made aware of the situation more than 72 hours before the start of the rental period, you will be entitled to a full refund. If you cancel between 72 and 48 hours prior to the start of the rental period, you will be charged 50% of the total fees (plus merchant banking/transaction fees).
If you cancel less than 48 hours before the start of the rental period, you will be charged the full amount.
Are there any additional fees that I need to be aware of?
We try to make our entire booking process as simple as possible. There are no booking fees, credit card surcharges, membership fees, or any other hidden fees charged as part of the booking. Rental insurance amounts are already factored into the amounts that the hosts advertise.
There are circumstances where you may incur additional costs separate from the booking fee. Circumstances include exceeding the distance paid for, tollway and Supercharger costs, or if the vehicle is returned poorly.
